Glycerine is a natural by product from the magical chemical reaction that makes soap; saponification.
It can also be synthetically made in a lab but natural vegetable glycerine is the most valuable and sort after in the cosmetic industry. So much so that commercially made soap often has the glycerine removed and sold off, only to be added to moisturising creams and lotions used to treat dry skin. No wonder soap has such a bad reputation for drying out skin when the active skin loving ingredient has been removed.
The Soap’s range of skin loving soaps only contain natural vegetable glycerine, that is made when vegetable oils are converted into soap.
